2025 Awards Eligibility
Well, it’s been a bit of a year, hasn’t it? I hope this post finds you keeping your head above water and able to celebrate a few accomplishments amidst the chaos that was 2025. In that spirit, here’s my award-eligible writing for the past year:
“Pastepot” in the magazine Supernatural Tales Issue 59 (short story, 3600 words)
“Creepshow” in the anthology Poisoned Soup for the Macabre, Depraved, and Insane: Nostalgic Terrors (creative nonfiction, 1000 words)
“The Lesser Devil’s Stairway” in the magazine Illustrated Worlds Issue 10 (short story, 4100 words)
“Pests” in the digital zine Memento Mori Ink: Morsus Vitae Issue 7 (drabble, 100 words)
In non-awards relevant news, my story “The Forest Has No Immediate Plans to Kill You” (originally published in Weird Horror Magazine) was reprinted in Small Wonders Issue 19 and recommended on Reactor. And next year, I’m excited to have forthcoming work in Saros Speculative Fiction, Supernatural Tales, Frost Zone Stories, the Tales to Terrify podcast, and a few other publications that I can’t talk about just yet. Watch this space.
