“Down” in Supernatural Tales

I’m very happy to have another story featured in one of my favorite magazines, Supernatural Tales. Edited by David Longhorn, Supernatural Tales has been running for 25 years and counting and is one of the very best publications focusing on the more subtle and atmospheric side of the horror genre—think M.R. James or Robert Aickman. My story “Down” is an attempt to flesh out some of the ideas driving my first published story (“The Forest Has No Immediate Plans to Kill You” from Weird Horror iss. 3) using a more character-driven approach. I like how it turned out, hope you do too.

Supernatural Tales Issue 62 is available through Lulu or Amazon in print or ebook formats and also includes stories from Timothy Granville, James Machin, Victoria Day, Ashley Stokes, David Longhorn, and Reggie Chamberlain-King.
